Henry Charles Bukowski (phiên âm tiếng Việt: Bu-kốp-xki, ; tên khai sinh là Heinrich Karl Bukowski - ; sinh ngày 16 tháng 8 năm 1920 – mất ngày 9 tháng 3 năm 1994) là một nhà thơ, tiểu thuyết gia và nhà văn truyện ngắn người Mỹ gốc Đức.

Văn chương của Bukowski được chú ý vì sử dụng hình ảnh bạo lực và ngôn ngữ đồ họa trong thơ và tiểu thuyết miêu tả sự sống còn trong một xã hội thối nát, tàn lụi. Người đời gọi ông là "Nhà thơ vinh danh khu ổ chuột".

Bukowski sống phần lớn cuộc đời ở Los Angeles. Ông theo học trường Cao đẳng Thành phố Los Angeles một thời gian ngắn (từ năm 1939–41) và làm những công việc nhàn hạ trong khi viết truyện ngắn, cuốn đầu tiên được xuất bản vào giữa những năm 1940. Sau khoảng thời gian 10 năm, ông từ bỏ việc viết lách và đi khắp Hoa Kỳ sống cuộc sống của một người nghiện rượu nghèo khổ, ông trở lại Los Angeles và bắt đầu xuất bản thơ vào năm 1955.
